Executive

Role

Creator, writer, star and executive producer of "In Living Color", 1990–1994
Source · medium confidence. His Wikipedia page says he created, wrote and starred in the show, which ran on Fox from 1990 to 1994, and lists the Emmy as executive producer. The In Living Color page says he stopped appearing in sketches in 1992 after season three, appeared only in the season-four premiere's opening segment, stayed in the credits as producer until the thirteenth episode of season four, then departed altogether. The 1994 end year is approximate (season four aired 1993-94); only Wikipedia was available for this, so it is one source.
