Wikipedia says Lopez founded the company with Benny Medina, who was to receive half of the producing revenue (the New York Times, 14 July 2003, reports the same arrangement), and that the two split shortly after. Whether the revenue arrangement ended with the split is not stated in the sources opened. Current status rests on the present-tense Wikipedia wording ("owns").
